Performance Horse Training and Rehabilitation

Maria Ah Foon has trained horses professionally since 2012 with a focus on problem horses and reactive equines. She was formally educated in 2009 at Kyre wood Equestrian Centre in Palmerston North, New Zealand and completed a NZQA Level 2 Sport Horse Stable practice certification. She has also trained with multiple FEI level trainers including Kari McClain, as well as classical dressage masters and horsemanship gurus.

At Midnight Rose Equestrian we custom build our training/rehab program around the individual partnership and goals of each team. We build a foundation based around communication, compassionate touch, and correct biomechanics to create harmonious long-term partnerships.

We train 5-6 days a week building our program from the ground up. Our training program can include 1-3 lessons per week between Maria and the owner which is encouraged throughout the whole training process in order to ensure the best success between each equine team once they return home.
